#SCAatHome Highlights

Hello, all #SCAatHome!

Have you seen the amazing stuff coming out from our worldwide community? If not, why don’t you join another kingdom’s social media and see what they are up to!

This week…

From the Kingdom of Caid…

Caid is doing Blåtand Artisan Challenge of Caid! An online art challenge. Blåtand references the 10th century Norse King Haraldr Blåtand (Bluetooth) Gormsen, known for uniting the Danish tribes into one Kingdom, and for whom Bluetooth technology was named. Much like Bluetooth technology connects devices, this challenge is a means to connect artisans and the Kingdom at a time when we cannot connect in person.

From the Kingdom of Drachenwald…

The Drachenwald social media team has the joy to introduce part 2 of “The search for the cure” starring their majesties and the alchemist Arkadia. In this episode, the enthusiastic alchemist Arkadia tries to convince Their Royal Majesties Æríkr and Jacquelyna that the cure for dizziness is also a cure for the plague that haunts Their lands. It seems that Arkadia’s imagery assistant is momentarily afflicted by such dizziness at least. Be sure to watch the whole episode to the end and you might see the furry assistant being extra helpful.

From the Kingdom of the Meridies…

Have you heard about the Meridian Scavenger Hunt going on on Facebook? Well here is this weeks’ requirements:
You have until 11:59 pm EST. Make a thread in the comments for your pics (not a separate post). A winner will be chosen at random from ALL those who complete the hunt.

No teams, unless it’s to help a child 10 or younger.

The prize is a sketch. Your portrait, pet portrait, SO’s portrait… you choose.

Use your creativity & HAVE FUN!

FYI: a soft parry is “anything used to defend that’s not rigid”
