Member Portal Temporarily Down

We are currently transitioning to a new Member Portal platform. The severe weather and loss of power in California has added to the downtime.

We appreciate your patience while we improve our services for you. If you have a membership emergency, please email [email protected], and Natalya or Louise will respond to you as soon as possible.

SCA.org is the recognized web site of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. and is maintained by [email protected].

This site may contain electronic versions of the group’s governing documents. Any discrepancies between the electronic version of any information on this site and the printed version that is available from the originating office will be decided in favor of the printed version.

Please respect the legal rights of our contributors. For information on using photographs, articles, or artwork from this website, please contact [email protected], who will assist you in contacting the original creator of the piece.

Note: the SCA has branches all over the world, and some of those branches have an official or unofficial presence on the Internet.

A branch presence server containing the words “sca.org” as part of its Internet address is an official SCA website for the kingdom or branch represented; it is not, however, an official website of the main corporation. If you have concerns about a kingdom page, please contact that kingdom’s webmaster or seneschal.

As a convenience to our members, we have links from this site to some SCA branch pages. Links to these pages do not imply formal approval or ownership of those pages. In particular, we do not warrant or authorize any information contained on any page or link except those held at www.sca.org and its subdirectories.

Some of the links from our pages may lead you to merchants and other commercial operations. We do not recommend, refer, authorize, warrant, or commission any of these merchants, and links to them from other pages we link to do not imply any such relationship.

Our general rules for linking to external websites are:

  1. We link to websites that are part of/involved with the SCA (kingdoms, SCA events, etc.)
  2. We link to websites with information about the SCA
  3. We link to websites whose focus is the history in the time frame that the SCA recreates, roughly 600AD to 1600AD.
  4. We don’t link to commercial sites, or sites whose main focus is advertising something to sell.
  5. We don’t link to sites that we deem obscene.

We reserve the right to refuse to include links to any site, for any reason.
