Thank you for your patience while we resolved the error with the original opinion poll of the heraldry of the new peerage order.
The poll is open to all SCA participants, regardless of membership (i.e. members, affiliate members, participants) In order to participate, SCA Inc. members will be prompted to log in to their existing accounts. Affiliate and non-members can create an account without purchasing a membership.
The poll contains all the options presented by the College of Arms that the Board had identified an affirmative decision could be reached on (e.g. a majority of the Board would vote yes). This decision was taken in order to keep the process moving. The Board thought it disingenuous to ask people to provide information on options that would not progress through a Board vote.
Some options identified as registrable did not pass this threshold. The Board acknowledges the extensive work done by the College of Arms and appreciates that this approach will not please everyone.
Some options suggested by the populace had previously been ruled out by the College of Arms due to conflicts with existing heraldry (white belt/white livery collar).
The poll has been reset. People who provided their opinion in the original poll are asked to answer it again.
Your input will help guide the Board of Directors in making the best decision for our Society.
The poll will be open for two weeks, giving everyone the opportunity to share their preferences, using preferential ranking.
