The Board of Directors is pleased to appoint Michelle (Mickey) Santy (the Honourable Lady Amytis de la Fontaine) as Society Youth Activities Officer. Ms Santy commenced in the role in December 2022.

Michelle (Mickey) Santy is a retired 4K – 12 Art teacher and US Air Force veteran.  Her teaching career has been spent teaching a variety of arts and crafts to 4K – 12th-grade students at a small rural school.  She has provided after-school art enrichment programs as well.  She lives in a small town in the north woods of Wisconsin, close to the Upper Peninsula border, with her mother.  As a single parent, and having lived for the most part in “remote” areas, she understands many issues that face families in the Society.  Her main hobbies include painting, drawing, embroidery, and costuming.  She loves traveling, having spent many years abroad while in the military, and is looking forward to doing much more of it.

The Honourable Lady Amytis de la Fontaine has two personas; one as a 14th c French merchant and embroideress, and the second as a widowed Elizabethan painter living in England.  She has traveled extensively and lived in Drachenwald (England), Caid, Barony of the Far West (Japan), and the Principality of Oertha (Alaska).

Ms Santy can be contacted at [email protected]
