The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Ray DuBose (Rey Ribeaumont) as Society Marshal-Elect for the Society for Creative Anachronism.

Ray DuBose is a cybersecurity architect, whose current client is the largest hospital group in the United States.  Having lived in both Meridies and Gleann Abhann, Ray now lives in Ansteorra with his wife Charlotte, their 10-year-old son Peter and both their cats.  He has been active in the SCA since 1991 and has held various local and kingdom offices.  In his free time, Ray enjoys woodworking and is an avid movie buff.

Count Rey RiBeaumont, KSCA, OP, is a 14th-century French nobleman from Picardy in Northern France.  He quickly gained notoriety and favor with the Crown for his prowess and skill during the battle of Calais.   Rey began his SCA career with target archery and also became a licensed falconer. He can now usually be found either fighting or marshaling on the heavy list field, in the kitchen at events, sitting around a fire with his friends, or chasing after their son.
Ray will assume the position when Alan Smith (Master Alan Gravesend) steps down later this year.  An exact date for this transition has not yet been established but will be announced once selected.
