The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Aaron (Rusty) Lloyd (Aaron Palomides of Buckminster) as Director, Seat A. He assumes this position immediately and will serve until the close of the April 2023 quarterly meeting.
Aaron (Rusty) Lloyd is a Principal Product Manager for one of the best software products in the world living in Avon, Indiana. He tries to do as much SCA as he can while helping his Holy Saint of a Wife raise 2 kids and 3 cats.
Aaron Palomides of Buckminster (KSCA, OP, BCW, CE) is a late period knight searching for the one true Landsknecht. He is in service to his Lady, his Crown, and The Society. He loves fighting, making stuff, and doing stuff. He also believes that when in doubt, single malt scotch.
As new Directors are seated each April and October, candidates for the Board are continually being solicited. Individuals may be nominated by SCA members and participants or can be self-nominated. No special experience is required, and candidates do not need to have specialized modern degrees. They also need not be peers – people from all walks of life are desired.
