For 20 years, the hot dry climes of Caid have played host to the treasure trove of artefacts that make up the SCA’s Archive. Under the watchful eye of CT Alderson (Aldred von Lechsen Aus Froscheim, OP), the artefacts and records that tell our story have been meticulously cared for and preserved.
With CT’s immense service to the SCA in this regard drawing to a close, the Archive is being sorted and packed for transfer to the Corporate Office while its next home is finalised. This is a large undertaking and while volunteers are assisting in the work to reduce the costs, it will still cost several thousand dollars.
