It is with great sadness that the Society says goodbye to a dear friend. Mrs Betty Cooper, known to some as Baroness Betty, others as Mrs C, founded the Coopers Lake Campground with her husband, ‘Mack’ Cooper. The campground became home to the Pennsic War, one of the Society’s largest events. Her support of the Society and her friendship will be greatly missed and we send our love and condolences to her family and friends that knew her best. You will always have a place in the heart and memories of the SCA.
