About the Senior SCA Corporate Officers

President:

Thomas W. Hughes lives in Aurora, Illinois (about 40 miles west of Chicago). He is the Director of Operations for the University of Illinois Medical Center's Institute for Patient Safety Excellence.

 

Baron Master Sean o'Shaughnessy is a late 12th-century Irish bloke who has just returned from fighting in the Crusades and is living in southern England. He is interested in fighting, rapier combat, cooking, and teaching combat to the youth.

Vice-President for Corporate Operations (Registrar):

Renee Signorotti has worked for the SCA for 22 years. She has been married for 26 years (poor guy) and has two grown children. She is an avid (rabid) quilter and cross-stitcher. She trains Labrador Retrievers for obedience, field work, and therapy, and is currently doing canine therapy with autistic teenagers and orthopedically handicapped teens.

Treasurer:

Mazelle Attiya lives in Memphis, TN where she works as an accountant for a company that sells janitorial products. When she isn't attending to SCA matters you can find her out on the dance floor doing swing dance. Over the 20 years that she has been in the SCA, she has lived in 5 different kingdoms.

 

Maitresse Alysia Gabrielle de Fougeres (OL, OP) currently attends the Court of Elizabeth I. Her interests are costuming, embroidery, cooking and rapier.

Publications Officer:

Dori Andrepont works as a publications coordinator. She is also a writer and a planning and zoning commissioner.

 

Mistress Doria Tecla (OP, Baroness) is a 12th-century Anglo-Saxon. A member since 1984, she somehow always ends up organizing over being the scribe or mosaicist of which she dreams.
