The Board of Directors is pleased to appoint Kevin Baun (Meister Melchior zum grauen Wolf OP, OL) as the next Society Web Minister. Mr Baun commences in the role on 1 July 2025.
Kevin Baun is an information security technologist located in Baltimore MD. He holds numerous degrees and certifications and prides himself on being a well-rounded geek. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and poking technology with a stick.
Meister Melchior zum grauen Wolf (OP OL) is a court advisor to Duke William V of Bavaria on matters of science and security. He currently resides in Heidelberg, where he traveled to attend and then to lecture at the University. Melchior’s primary interests in the SCA are the rapier (martial), research of period cryptography (A&S), and generally helping out in any way that will make everyone smile a little more, with a specific focus on technology (service).
The Society Web Minister is appointed by the Board but will report directly to the Vice President of Information Technology. The Society Web Minister is warranted for a three-year term of service.
