Job Description:
The Society Social Media Deputy reports to the SCA Communications Team, consisting of the SCA Communications Officer and SCA President, while managing the various Kingdom Social Media Officers. The role is dedicated to distributing announcements, creating content, moderating the official social media channels and providing regular reporting.
Job Duties:
- Develop, create and distribute Social Media content across the SCA Social media Channels in partnership with the Society Communications Officer.
- Be a voice for the SCA community related to social media trends and opportunities.
- Moderate official platforms in accord with SCA Policy and in conjunction with the SCA Communications Officer and the appropriate Kingdom Social Media Officer.
- Create and gather exciting content from across the Known World to consider for distribution on official social media channels.
- Work closely with all Kingdom Social Media Officers to ensure quality content and consistent, on-time reporting.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with social media management across a variety of platforms.
- Knowledge of SCA Corpora and Kingdom Cultures.
- Ability to effectively communication with cross-functional teams.
- Availability at irregular hours and plugged into social media.
