Attention past Tournaments Illuminated Authors:
Would you like to see your article made available online?
We often hear "Can't you put the old TI's online?" But it's not as easy as just scanning in all the old issues and linking them up. Every author who has ever written for TI has retained copyright to his or her article, and we wouldn't have it any other way. But the Internet is a relatively recent phenomenon, and hence, presents us with a dilemma.
We would love to be able to give our readers online access to the wonderful articles our authors have written over the years, and have space on the sca.org servers to house these articles. But our publication release form only began to allow authors to grant explicit permission for electronic publication in Summer 2001. If your article was published before that date, we need your permission in writing to allow us to place it online.
If you are interested in helping out, please print and fill out the permission form and send it to:
If you have your article available in electronic format, we would love it if you could send us a copy, either along with your permission form or as an e-mail attachment to the editor's e-mail address. If you do not, do not despair -- we will find a way to turn your old article into a web page.
If you already have an online version of your article available (on a personal website or elsewhere), just e-mail the link to the Tournaments Illuminated editor, and we'll link it up to our online index of past articles.
Thanks for your help!
