Our upcoming Quest article is "Hints for Metal-casters", with Guest Editor Kirsten O'Brien | Rekon of Saaremaa.

Whether your metal of choice is pewter, brass, silver, or something less usual, experienced metal-casters have learned tricks along the way to make our work easier and safer and our results better. From troubleshooting molds and pieces of equipment that you wouldn't want to do without, to your favorite alloys, techniques, and reference works, your advice can give newer casters inspiration and knowledge that is incredibly valuable.

Send your advice (up to 200 words) tieditor@sca.org by May 7, and it may be included in the Third Quarter 2014 issue of Tournaments Illuminated. If you have a picture of your work or setup that you'd like to include, please write the editor for photo specs.
