The Board of Directors is currently considering the removal of X. Grievances and Sanctions; B. Grievances from Corpora and placement of same into a freestanding document.
The reasoning behind this proposal relates to the fact that the information in X. B. Grievances (including both parts 1. Principles and 2. Procedures) does not contain required steps or actions within the grievance process, but rather recommendations by which disagreements may be managed so that intervention by the Board of Directors does not become necessary.
Corpora X. A. General contains pertinent and important information regarding the use of hate speech in the SCA, definitions, and the procedure to handle such complaints. The current inclusion of the language contained in Corpora X. B. Grievances has caused numerous misunderstandings. Therefore, this change is being suggested for the sake of clarity. Corpora X.A. is not being changed or removed. This removal affects Corpora X.B. only.
