The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Bonnie Stringer (Mistress Marcel Orillion, OP) as Society Exchequer-Elect for the Society for Creative Anachronism.

Bonnie Stringer retired from E.I. DuPont after 32 years of service. Most of that time was spent as a Boiler Technician at the DeLisle Mississippi site. After her retirement in 2012, Bonnie became an Industrial trainer for MSCCC with focused training at the DeLisle site. In her spare time, Bonnie enjoys vining, and making hair and various types of fishing nets.

Mistress Marcel Orillion and family originally comes from the Champagne area of France, but later established homes in both Meridies and Gleann Abhann.  Mistress Marcell has held local and Kingdom Exchequer positions, served on two Exchequer Handbook teams and was part of the testing team for PayPal.  She currently serves on the Society Financial Committee.

Bonnie will assume the position of Society Exchequer in November 1, 2020. The Society Exchequer compiles financial information reported by all local branches of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc., to be used in the SCA’s tax returns and other financial reports.

Many thanks to Mistress Barbara de Sterling of Gleann Abhann for providing the picture of Mistress Marcel.
