Over the last few months, the SCA has experienced several issues related to email. Some of our outgoing mail either has not been delivered or has ended up in Spam and Junk folders. Additionally, we have begun to receive reports that some email sent to various corporate officers and directors never reached our servers. If you have sent an email with a direct question in that time frame and have not received a response here are a couple of things to try.
First, we would ask that you check your spam folders to see if a reply was incorrectly categorized as spam. We know that this is a consistent and ongoing issue with Gmail users. Unfortunately, we have no control over when providers classify emails as spam. That is why using your email provider’s “Report as not-spam” function. Secondly, if there is no response in your spam folder, please re-send your question.
As volunteer organization we also ask for your patience as we continue to resolve these technical problems. While we now believe most of these issues have been resolved, there may still be some lurking around.
If after two attempts, you have not received a response, please let us know that you may be experiencing issues via message to the Society’s social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and we will investigate.
