Copyright Notice for SCA, Inc., Web pages

This is the recognized web site for the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. and is maintained by webmaster@sca.org. This site may contain electronic versions of the group's governing documents. Any discrepancies between the electronic version of any information on this site and the printed version that is available from the originating office will be decided in favor of the printed version. For information on using photographs, articles, or artwork from this web site, please contact webmaster@sca.org. They will assist you in contacting the original creator of the piece. Please respect the legal rights of our contributors.

Note: the SCA has branches all over the world, and some of those branches have an official or unofficial presence on the Internet.

A branch presence server containing the words "sca.org" as part of its Internet address is an official Internet site for the kingdom or branch represented; it is not, however, an official site of the main corporation. If you have concerns about a Kingdom page, please contact their webmaster or the Kingdom Seneschal.

As a convenience to our members, we have links from this site to many of the SCA branch pages. Links to these pages do not imply formal approval or ownership of those pages. In particular, we do not warrant or authorize any information contained on any page or link except those held at www.sca.org and its subdirectories.

Some of the links from our pages, if followed, may lead you to merchants and other commercial operations. We do not recommend, refer, authorize, warrant, or commission any of these merchants, and links to them from other pages we link to do not imply any such relationship.

Our general rules for linking to external websites are:

  1. We link to websites that are part of/involved with the SCA (kingdoms, SCA events, etc.)
  2. We link to websites with information about the SCA
  3. We link to websites whose focus is the history in the time frame that the SCA recreates, roughly 600AD to 1600AD.
  4. We don't link to commercial sites, or sites whose main focus is advertising something to sell.
  5. We don't link to sites that we deem obscene.

We reserve the right to refuse to include links to any site, for any reason.
